Electronic Despatch Note The Electronic Despatch Note allows hospitals to access their delivery information via a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) message that can be "picked up" from NHSBT. The message gives standard issue information on the donation number, the product, the blood group and the expiry date.  It also contains confirmed/unconfirmed phenotype information.  Further information can be obtained from http://hospital.blood.co.uk/products/index.asp
