| Five different workshops were held twice during the meeting. Attendees were invited to attend two of the workshops, one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. The WORKSHOP ARENA will allow everyone to benefit from the discussions and ideas that came out of each workshop.

Formerly Service Manager in Haematology and Blood Transfusion at Barts and the London NHS Trust.
Mark Jelly
Mark worked at Boots PLC in charge of supply chain management for a variety of products before joining the NBS last year. Mark is a member of the NBS demand planning group.

Elaine Addison
Elaine started her life in Transfusion at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. She then crossed the border and has worked in both hospitals and the blood service before taking up her current post. She is a member of the NBS vCJD sub group working on managing blood shortages.
